Delete your account and data

Glimmry, the app published by bva Group LLC, uses no email or password: your account is anonymous and tied to your iPhone. You can delete it in the app, with all your data, on your device and on our servers.

Last updated: October 23, 2026

1. Delete your data in the app

  1. Open the Profile tab.
  2. Under “Your data”, tap Delete my data.
  3. Confirm with Delete my data.

Our servers immediately erase your account and everything your iPhone created (see step 5). The app then erases its local data and goes back to its first screen. This can’t be undone: your creators and videos can’t be recovered.

If the deletion doesn’t go through, for example without a connection, the app shows a message and keeps your data on the iPhone: try again later.

2. Delete a single creator

  1. Open the My creators tab.
  2. Tap the creator you want to delete to open their profile.
  3. At the bottom of the profile, tap Delete this creator, then confirm with Delete.

Their portrait, name, story and settings are erased from your iPhone. This button doesn’t delete the copies kept on our servers: to erase those, use “Delete my data” (step 1), which deletes all your data.

3. Delete the app

Deleting the app erases its local library (portraits, names, stories), but not the data kept on our servers: use “Delete my data” (step 1) first. If you reinstall the app, your previous creators won’t appear.

4. Without the app: email request

If you no longer have the app or the iPhone you used, ask us to delete your data:

  1. Email contact@glimmry.com with the subject “Glimmry account deletion”.
  2. Help us find your anonymous account: the name and type of your creator or creators, roughly when you created them and, if possible, a screenshot of their profile in the app.
  3. We delete your device account and everything linked to it, then confirm the deletion by email, within one month at most.
Request deletion

5. What gets deleted

  • your registered device (identifier, App Attest public key), your sessions and your usage counters;
  • your creators: chosen options, portraits and continuity sheets;
  • your studio projects: ideas, names and stories sent, scripts, voices, opening frames, added images and videos;
  • your campaign sign-ups;
  • the portrait sheets generated, including the ones you didn’t keep.

6. What we keep, and for how long

  • Cloudflare technical logs, without the content of your requests: 7 days at most, then deleted automatically.
  • Files sent to our AI provider, Kie.ai: deleted by Kie after 24 hours; generation results stay at Kie for up to 14 days.
  • If you ask by email, our exchange about your request: up to 3 years, so we can show that we handled it.
  • Records of payouts already sent that the law requires us to keep (accounting, tax), outside the app, for the legal period.

Videos you saved to Photos stay in your photo library. Videos you posted on TikTok, YouTube or elsewhere are controlled by those platforms: delete them from your creator’s account.

Without a request from you, we keep your data as long as your account exists. There is no automatic deletion after a period of inactivity yet; if we introduce one, we’ll announce it here and in the app first.
