Everything about Glimmry campaigns: joining, preparing your videos, tracking views and receiving your earnings.
Glimmry in brief
What is Glimmry?
Glimmry is an iPhone and iPad app for joining brand campaigns paid per 1,000 verified views. Choose a brief and a rate, prepare your video, get it approved and track your earnings. The built-in AI studio helps you create labeled videos with a virtual character, even without filming yourself.
Who makes Glimmry?
Glimmry is published by bva Group LLC. The Glimmry team builds the app, sets up campaigns with brands, reviews videos and verifies views. You can reach us at contact@glimmry.com.
When can I see the campaigns?
First, complete your creator application in Glimmry and wait for our team to accept it. Campaigns, briefs, rates and available spots remain locked while your application is under review. Once accepted, you can explore them in the app. Check your application status in the Campaigns tab.
Is Glimmry free?
Yes, Glimmry is free during the beta. The studio shows the price of each video before you generate it (about $9.88 for 15 seconds with a voice) and marks it “Free during the beta”. Joining campaigns is free, with no in-app purchase and no subscription.
Where can I get Glimmry?
Glimmry is in private beta on TestFlight, and the App Store release is being prepared, for iPhone and iPad on iOS 17 or later. An Android version will come later.
How do you earn from a campaign?
With Glimmry, you make money by joining a brand campaign: you create the video in the app, it’s approved, you post it on TikTok, YouTube or Instagram, and you earn the campaign rate for every 1,000 verified views, up to the cap per video. Payouts go to Whop from $25 available. The full calculation.
Trust
Is this a scam?
No. Glimmry explains its campaign terms and review process:
- Campaign money comes from brands, who pay for verified views. Joining a campaign is free: we never ask you to pay to take part.
- Your earnings follow the verified views of your videos, at the rate shown before you join.
- During the beta, views are checked by our team and payouts require admin approval through Whop, from $25 available.
Be wary of anyone promising guaranteed income in Glimmry’s name.
Do I have to show my face?
No. You never film yourself. Your creator can be a fictional character generated from the traits you choose, an animal you describe, or, if you want, a character based on your own photo or your pet’s.
To join campaigns, you do send an identity document once, so our team can check that you’re an adult. It’s read by a person, never used for generation, and deleted after the decision.
Can I create an AI version of myself?
Yes. In “Create a creator”, choose “A person”, then “Import my photo”: a sharp photo with only you in it. You confirm it’s you, that you’re 18 or older and that you own the rights to the photo. It’s used to create your portraits and reference sheet with our AI generation service, and re-encoded without location data.
Your creator is still an AI‑generated image: its portraits carry “Virtual image” and its videos “AI‑GENERATED IMAGES”. A photo of anyone else is not allowed. You can erase everything from Profile, “Delete my data”.
Can I create a character from someone else’s photo?
No. A starting photo must be of you (and you must be 18 or older) or of your own pet, and you must own the rights to it: you confirm it in the app before importing. Celebrities, lookalikes and minors are not allowed, and the studio refuses ideas that target a real person.
Characters created from traits are fictional, but a chance resemblance can never be ruled out entirely. If your creator looks like a real person, don’t use it: generate a new one and let us know.
Why do my videos say “AI‑GENERATED IMAGES”?
So that nobody is misled. The label is burned into the picture of every exported video, and becomes “AD · AI‑GENERATED IMAGES” for campaign videos. Don’t hide it or crop it out.
When you post, also switch on the platform’s AI‑generated content label and, for a campaign, its paid partnership setting. Our guide Sponsored AI videos: how to label them walks you through it. A C2PA content signature is planned; it isn’t in place yet.
Can my creator say they’ve tried the product?
No. They present the product from the brand’s brief and never give a personal testimonial: no “I tried it”, no “since I started using it”, no promised results. A virtual character hasn’t tried anything, so claiming otherwise would be misleading.
Earnings and campaigns
How much will I earn?
Earnings = verified views ÷ 1,000 × rate, up to the cap per video set by the campaign.
As an illustrative calculation, a rate of $0.25 per 1,000 views with a $10 cap gives $5.00 for 20,000 views. At $1 per 1,000 views, those views give $20 before applying the cap. Actual campaign offers and terms are visible in Glimmry only after your application is accepted.

Why do I need to apply to view and join campaigns?
Because brands pay real money for these videos. Before viewing or joining campaigns, you complete an application and wait for acceptance. The application includes: your name, date of birth, email, country, your social profile, a few words about your content, and a photo of an identity document.
A person on our team reviews it by hand; no approval time is guaranteed. The document is never sent to an AI and is deleted after the decision, or after 30 days without a decision. Every account goes through this step, including existing ones.
Who pays?
Brands. Each campaign has a budget, a rate per 1,000 verified views and a cap per video. You pay nothing to join a campaign.
During the launch, campaigns are selected and published by the Glimmry team. Some are “in-house campaigns”, clearly marked as such in the app.
How are views counted?
Once your video is approved and posted, you paste its public link in the app (TikTok, YouTube or Instagram). Then you send a screenshot of the post’s statistics with the number of views you see.
Our team checks each proof and records the verified views. Your earnings stay “pending” until the views are final, then become available. Bought or artificial views are excluded.
How do payouts work?
Once you have at least $25 available, you can request a payout of an amount within your available balance to your linked Whop account. During the beta, payouts require admin approval: the request then shows as paid, with its reference, or refused, with the reason.
Who posts the video?
You do, on your own account. The app prepares the file, which you save to Photos or share: it never posts anything on your behalf.
For a campaign, the video is approved first: saving and sharing stay locked until that exact version is approved.
Which platforms?
Campaigns target TikTok and YouTube Shorts; the app also accepts Instagram post links. Each campaign lists the platforms it accepts.
Creating and videos
What kind of creator can I make?
A person, a cat (12 breeds), a dog (14 breeds), a rabbit, a fox, a panda, or any animal you describe in a few words or show in a photo. For a person, a cat or a dog, you choose traits step by step or start from your own photo. Every portrait carries a “Virtual image” badge.
Does my creator keep the same face?
Yes. Once you choose a creator, their face, hair, skin tone and defining features become the visual reference for every new video. This helps keep the same recognizable identity across campaigns, even when the product, script or setting changes. Glimmry prepares that reference privately in the background. Review each draft for visual consistency before sharing.
Can I add my own images?
Yes, one optional image per video: a product, an app screenshot or a setting you have the rights to. It’s used as a content reference, never as a face. A photo that shows a person is refused. For an app, add an iPhone screenshot: it appears as is in the video, never generated. The image is re-encoded and its metadata, including location, is removed.
Can I add a link to my app, or a video that inspires me?
Yes. Add your app or website’s link with its name and a short description, or a TikTok or Instagram video with your notes on what inspires you. Links are never opened or analyzed: only your text is used.
Which languages?
The app is in English, with US date and number formats. Generated videos are in English: script, voice, subtitles and labels.
Account and data
Do I need an account?
No sign-up. Your account is anonymous and tied to your device through Apple’s App Attest: no password. An email is only asked for when you apply for campaigns or request a payout. The flip side: if you change phones or reinstall the app, your creators don’t come with you yet.
What data do you collect?
Only what the service needs to work: your device’s anonymous identifier, your creation choices and any photo you import, the images and videos generated, your studio texts, and, for campaigns, your application, post links, view proofs and payout requests. No targeted advertising, no trackers. The details are in our privacy policy.
How do I delete my data?
In the app, open Profile and tap “Delete my data”: it erases your account and everything your device created, on the device and on our servers, including your application and identity document. You can also email us if you no longer have the app. The steps are on the Delete your account page.
