Terms of use

These terms govern your use of the Glimmry app and the glimmry.com website. By using Glimmry, you accept them. Please also read our privacy policy.

Last updated: October 23, 2026

1. Who we are

Glimmry is published by bva Group LLC, a US limited liability company, 30 N Gould St, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801-6317, United States. Contact: contact@glimmry.com.

2. The service

Glimmry lets you create realistic virtual characters (a person, a cat or a dog), generate AI videos featuring them, and join brand campaigns paid according to verified views.

The service is in its launch phase. Some features described in these terms (brand approval, view tracking, earnings and payouts, in-app purchases) are not available yet; they are marked as such.

3. Age and account

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Glimmry.
  • Your account is anonymous and tied to your device, verified with Apple’s App Attest. If you change devices or reinstall the app, you may lose access to your creators: no backup is available yet.
  • You are responsible for how Glimmry is used from your device.
  • Using several accounts or devices to get around limits or multiply earnings is not allowed.

4. Characters: fictional, or from your own photo

  • You may create a fictional character with the app’s guided flow or a description, or start from a photo of yourself or of your own pet.
  • A photo you import must show you or your animal, and you must hold the rights to it. If it shows you, you must be 18 or older. You must not import a photo of anyone else.
  • You must not try to depict another real, identifiable person (a celebrity, a public figure, someone you know), or present a character as a real person.
  • Human characters are adults. Any attempt to depict a minor, or to produce sexual content, is prohibited.
  • If a generated character happens to look like another real person, don’t use it, and let us know.
  • The optional image you add in the studio must show a product, a screenshot or a setting you have the rights to. It must not show a recognisable real person, a minor or protected content you don’t have the rights to.

5. Mandatory labels

  • Generated videos are in English. Every exported video carries an “AI‑GENERATED IMAGES” label burned into the picture, which becomes “AD · AI‑GENERATED IMAGES” for campaign videos. You must not remove, hide, crop out or obscure it.
  • When you post, also use the platform’s tools: its AI‑generated content label and, for a campaign, its branded content or paid partnership setting. The caption of a campaign video must clearly disclose the ad.
  • You must follow the advertising and influencer marketing rules of your country, as well as each platform’s rules. In the United States, for example, the FTC’s rules on endorsements apply; in France, law no. 2023-451 of 9 June 2023 requires labels such as “Publicité” or “Collaboration commerciale” and “Images virtuelles”.
  • The account you post on must present your creator as a virtual character, for example in its bio.

6. A presenter, never a testimonial

  • A virtual character hasn’t used any product. Your content must therefore never include a personal testimonial (“I tried it”, “since I started using it”…) or an opinion presented as lived experience.
  • For a campaign, only use the information provided in the brief: no invented features, no promised results, no medical, financial or legal advice, no misleading or disparaging comparisons.
  • The app flags some prohibited phrasing, but that check doesn’t replace your own.

7. AI‑generated content

  • Content is generated automatically and may contain mistakes (identity, dialogue, text, continuity). Every video is a draft: review it before you share it. Subtitles follow the script and are not a transcript of the audio.
  • The app never posts on your behalf. You are responsible for what you post.
  • During the beta, the number of generations per day is limited. These limits may change.

8. Campaigns

  • Access to campaigns requires an approved application: accurate information (full name, date of birth, email, country, social profile, a description of your content) and a photo of a valid identity document. Our team reviews it by hand and may accept or refuse it; no review time is guaranteed. You must be 18 or older.
  • Joining a campaign is free. Your spot, rate and cap are reserved when you join, subject to the spots available.
  • Each campaign sets its own rules (brief, platforms, formats, accepted creator types, rate, cap per video, deadlines). They apply in addition to these terms.
  • A campaign video is submitted in the app and approved before it’s posted. Glimmry reviews it on the brand’s behalf; saving and sharing stay locked until that version is approved. Approval may be refused, or changes requested.
  • You post the approved video unchanged, on a public account, with its labels, then submit its public link in the app.
  • The brand may see, in a private report, your post’s link, platform, date and views; never your identity, your earnings or your payout details.
  • We may withdraw a campaign or a participation, in particular if the rules aren’t followed.
  • The rights granted to the brand over a campaign video (for example reusing it in its own ads) will be set out in the campaign’s terms.
  • Brands are bound by specific terms agreed when each campaign is set up.

9. Earnings and payouts

  • Earnings are calculated as follows: verified views ÷ 1,000 × your reserved rate, up to the cap per video and within the campaign’s remaining budget.
  • For views, you submit your post’s link and screenshots of its statistics. Glimmry checks them and records the verified views: only those count. Earnings stay “pending” until the views are final, then become available.
  • Earnings are subject to verification. We may freeze or cancel them in case of abnormal activity (bought or artificial views, bots, manipulation), a deleted or edited video, missing labels or a breach of these terms.
  • Request withdrawals on glimmry.com to your linked Whop account, from $25 and within your available balance. Each request requires our team’s approval, with no guaranteed processing time. An approved transfer credits your Whop balance; bank withdrawals are then managed through Whop under its terms and any applicable fees.
  • You are responsible for any taxes and contributions on your earnings.
  • Glimmry doesn’t guarantee any income. Earnings examples shown in the app or on the website are simulations, not promises.

10. Pricing and purchases

During the beta, the app is free: the studio shows the price of each video for information, and it’s on us. In-app purchases (for example for the studio) may be offered later; their prices and terms will be shown before any purchase, which will go through the App Store. Joining campaigns will stay free.

11. Acceptable use

You must not use Glimmry to:

  • create or share illegal, hateful, violent, harassing, discriminatory or sexual content;
  • depict a minor or a real person other than yourself, impersonate anyone or mislead people about a character being virtual;
  • spread false information, political or electoral messages, or medical, financial or legal advice;
  • infringe other people’s rights (copyright, trademarks, image rights, privacy);
  • artificially inflate views or engagement, or buy views;
  • get around the service’s quotas, checks or security measures;
  • copy, scrape, resell or reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows it.

12. Intellectual property

  • The app, the website, the Glimmry brand and their content belong to bva Group LLC or its partners.
  • You keep your rights in what you give us (texts, images). You allow us to host, process and pass them to our service providers only as far as needed to run the service.
  • As long as you follow these terms, you may use the content generated for you, including for commercial purposes. To the extent we hold any rights in that content, we assign them to you. We don’t guarantee that AI‑generated content is original or protectable, or that it doesn’t resemble third-party content.

13. Moderation and reporting

  • We may review, refuse or remove any content or character that breaches these terms or the law.
  • To report content, a campaign or abuse, email contact@glimmry.com. A “Report” button is coming to the app.

14. Suspension and termination

  • You can stop using Glimmry at any time and delete your data from the app (Profile, “Delete my data”) or on request (see the Delete your account page).
  • We may suspend or close a device’s access, withdraw a participation or freeze earnings in case of a breach of these terms, fraud, a risk to other users or to the service, or where the law requires it. Unless it’s urgent or legally prevented, we’ll explain why when we can.
  • Earnings obtained through fraud or in breach of these terms are not owed.

15. Availability

The service is provided as is, in its launch phase. It may be interrupted, changed or limited, for example for maintenance. Features announced as “coming soon” have no guaranteed date.

16. Liability

  • To the extent permitted by law, bva Group LLC is not liable for indirect damages, for the content you post, or for decisions made by platforms (content removal, account restrictions) or by brands.
  • Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country, or our liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct or personal injury.

17. App Store

If you downloaded the app from the App Store, these terms are between you and bva Group LLC, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. Apple’s standard licensed application end user licence agreement (EULA) also applies.

18. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms, for example when payouts open. The update date is shown at the top of this page; if a change is significant, we’ll let you know in the app before it takes effect.

19. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. If there is a dispute, please email us first at contact@glimmry.com and we’ll look for an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts of the State of Wyoming, without prejudice to the mandatory rules that protect consumers in their country of residence.

If you live in the European Union, you keep the right to go to the courts of your country of residence and to contact your national consumer protection authority.
